Jimmie Stanfield

Jimmie Carroll Stanfield of Waynesboro, TN was born March 14, 1920 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Leonard and Inous McLean Carroll. She was united in marriage to Otis Stanfield and he preceded her in death on September 25, 1957. Mrs. Stanfield was retired from Genesco and was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



Mrs. Stanfield departed this life on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 6 Months, 10 Days.



She is survived by two sons, James T. Stanfield of Bon Aqua, TN, Patrick M. Stanfield of Waynesboro, TN; three daughters, Della S. Butler of Florence, AL, Billie Jones of Smyrna, TN, Molly S. Davidson of Huntsville, AL; 12 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stanfield was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha S. Burton; two brothers, Vernon Carroll, Rex Carroll; two sisters, Etah DeVasure, Ruth Gobbel.



Services will be Monday, September 26, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley and Ronnie Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, directing. Pallbearers will be Doug Butler, Scott Butler, Chandler Prince, Larry Burton, Ricky Davidson, Brenden Burton.
