Jimmie N. Wright

Jimmie N. Wright was born May 27, 1929 in Mud Creek Community in Adamsville, TN; the son of the late O. W. and Jewel Irons Wright. He was united in marriage to Maxine Jamerson on August 1, 1951 and worked for E.I. DuPont for 31 years, and retired in 1993. Jimmie served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers, gardening and crump flea market every weekend.

Mr. Wright departed this life on May 5, 2018 in at the age of 88 Years, 11 Months, 8 Days.

He is survived by his wife Maxine; two sons, Jeffrey A. Wright and wife Kathy of Arlington, TN, Eric L. Wright and wife Linda of Bartlett, TN; two grandchildren, Jason L. Wright and wife Rebecca and Justin B. Wright; three great grandchildren: Tyler, Wyatt and Rylee Wright; a brother, Paul Wright and wife Shirley of Adamsville, TN and a host of other friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Wed, May 9, 2018 from 1 pm until services at 3 pm all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Adamsville, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville, Tennessee.
