Jimmy Clapp

Jimmy Clapp was born August 23, 1948 in Mason, Tennessee the son of the late Walter Arthur Clapp, Sr. and Mary Clapp.He was united in marriage to Rhonda Jean Horton on May 31, 1983.Mr. Clapp was self-employed as a professional painter, and was a United States Army veteran, having served 18 months in Vietnam as a rear door gunner. He enjoyed the shooting sports and was an expert marksman. Mr. Clapp departed this life on August 7, 2010 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 61 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Jean (Horton) Clapp of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Whitney LeAnne Clapp of Charleston, SC and Melanie Berry of San Antonio, TX; a son, Colin Vincent Schueler of Chicago, IL; a grandchild, Autumn Alexis Berry; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clapp was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Clapp, Jr and a sister, Mary Grace Clapp.
