Jimmy C. Franks was born on August 14, 1949 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late William A. and Annie Mae Johns Franks.
On June 26, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patricia Sue Parson Franks, who preceded her husband in death on November 24, 2019.
Mr. Franks honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked as the Water Plant Manager for District 1 for 20 years and as a Commercial Fisherman for 40 years. Jimmy was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee. He enjoyed squirrel hunting, deer hunting. camping, drinking coffee, and being with family. He loved his daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much.
Jimmy C. Franks departed this life on January 6, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 23 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Franks of Counce, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Rose.
