Jimmy Lee Jenkins

Jimmy Lee Jenkins departed this life Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his home at the age of 69 Years, 3 Months, 20 Days. He was born March 14, 1948 in Lutts, TN, the son of the late Jim Jenkins and Alabama Lee Johnson Jenkins Brewer.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Joyce Ayers on August 28, 1967, was a retired timber cutter and was a member of the Collinwood Church of God, Collinwood, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Joyce Ayers Jenkins of Collinwood, TN., sons, James Lee Jenkins, wife, Dana of Savannah, TN, Terry Wayne Jenkins, wife, Robin of Collinwood, TN; daughters, Linda Joyce Kilburn of Waynesboro, TN, Belinda Gail Thompson and husband, David of Collinwood, TN; 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Edward Jenkins of Savannah, TN, Jerry Mack Jenkins of Iron City, TN; sisters, Mary Childress of Leoma, TN, Nannie Jackson of Collinwood, TN, Alta Lee Franks of Petersville, AL, Letha Ledbetter of Paragould, AR; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by step-mother, Maudie Jenkins, grandchildren, Ricky, Daniel and and Leslie Jenkins and sisters, Bessie Harrington, Altaglee Murphy.

Services will be Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm and Friday, July 7, 2017 from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Jenkins, Terry Jenkins, Jiminey Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Belinda Thompson, Linda Kilburn, David Thompson and Jacob Kilburn.
