JIMMY LEE JOHNSON

was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on November 1, 1951 the son of Ben Johnson and the late Anna Sue Butler Johnson.

Mr. Johnson worked with Preston Carroll Construction beginning in 1969 and we he left there he worked as a foreman or operator for various companies in various places until 1993 when he moved back to Savannah to start his own company, Jimmy Johnson Trackhoe Service. Mr. Johnson in his free time loved to go fishing and hunting.

He departed this life on January 17, 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his children, Lisa Ann Holstein of Geismar, Louisiana, Misty Johnson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Stephen Johnson of Baxter, Tennessee and Timmy Pendergrass of Laverkin, Utah

12 grandchildren

his father, Ben Johnson of Clifton, Tennessee

two sisters, Carolyn Kelley and her husband Scott of Savannah, Tennessee, Joyce Bain of Clifton, Tennessee and Scott Johnson and his wife Diane of Euharlee, Georgia

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Leigh Ann Johnson.
