JIMMY KNIPPER
Henderson, TN: Jimmy Allen Knipper age 62 passed away Friday evening, January 15, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1953 in Lexington and reared in Chester County, the son of the late John William and Mary Barbara Diffee Knipper. He attended Chester County Schools. He married Paula Orr in 1978 and they made their home near Henderson. He served twenty years in the Tennessee National Guard in Henderson. He worked for the Tennessee Division of Forestry as a heavy equipment operator in Chester County and Obion County. He married Sara Floyd in 1998. He loved horseback riding, motorcycle riding and coon hunting. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Jane Floyd Knipper of Henderson; three daughters, Angela Siler of Jacks Creek, Blake Murphy of South Fulton, TN and Brooke Johnson of Union City, TN; seven grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Knipper of Henderson and two sisters, Cathy McKinnie of Medon and Vera Quessy of Cookeville.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday.
