Jimmy Oneal Murray was born December 6, 1949 in Selmer, TN the son of Doretta Isbell Murray and the late Virgil Oneal Murray.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Harville on December 18, 1970.
Mr. Murray was a self-employed logger. He was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He enjoyed going to antique car shows and was the official taste tester for Hillbilly Bar-be-que.
He served his coutry honorably in the United States Army from 1969-1971.
Mr. Murray departed this life on May 3, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 4 Months, 27 Days. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Harville) Murray of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Shiree Combs and husband Chris of Adamsville, TN; a son, Shane Murray and wife Susan of Selmer, TN; a sister, Candy Butler and husband Donnie of Bethel Springs, TN; four grandchildren, Hilary Combs and fiance Bolton Gean, Tyler Combs, Paige Murray, Zach Murray; and a host of extended family and friends.
