Mr. Vaughn died Sunday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Neubrucke, Germany, the son of the late James Robert Vaughn and Beverly Sue Maxwell Vaughn Martindale, who survives. Mr. Vaughn moved with his family to Middleton in 1980 and graduated from Middleton High School with the Class of 1981. He was a member of the Middleton Church of Christ.
Jimmy worked as a truck driver for Yellow Roadway and was also a trainer for MS Carriers. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, UT Vols football, playing rook and camping. His favorite activity was planning and spending time with all of his family.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married July 28, 2004, Carla Burgess Vaughn of Middleton; his mother and step-father, Beverly and Mickey Martindale of Courtland, MS; two brothers, Andy Vaughn (Lori) of Jackson, TN and Jeff Vaughn (Becky) of Ramer; three step-daughters, Ann Marie Burgess, Candice and Maegan Grantham; and a step-sister, Carla Watts of Selmer.
