Jo Ann Walker

Jo Ann Walker was born June 8, 1931 in Selmer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Bill Louis and Lucile Whitaker Foster.She was united in marriage to Milbourne Clark Walker on February 15, 1947. Mr. Walker preceded her in death on March 17, 2003.Mrs. Walker had worked at Selmer Bank and Trust, Union Planters and Regions as a loan officer assistant . She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee where she had taught Sunday school. She was active with the McNairy County Democratic committee. Mrs. Walker departed this life on September 24, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 3 Months, 16 Days. She is survived by a son, Clark Walker and wife Debbie of Pickwick Dam, TN; a sister, Billie Sue Thompson of Selmer, TN; host of nieces, nephews and many friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Foster.
