Jo Williams Hendrix

Jo Williams Hendrix was born July 2, 1932 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Oliver Clayton and Mary Virgina Elizabeth Whitten Henley.She was united in marriage to James Albert Williams who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Carlton Hendrix on February 5, 1994.Mrs. Hendrix was a retired supervisor for Garan, Inc. in Adamsville, Tennessee, and was a member of the New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.She departed this life on November 29, 2005 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 4 Months, 27 Days.In addition to her husband Carlton Hendrix of Adamsville, Tennessee, Mrs. Hendrix is survived by two daughters, Sandra Williams and Carolyn Williams both of Nashville, Tennessee; three step-daughters, Donna Navarro of Selmer, Tennessee, Cindi Shepherd of Paducah, Kentucky and Vonda Powers of Paducah, Kentucky and three sisters, Atha Lou Smith, Mary Ann Cooksey and Laverne Henley all of Adamsville, Tennessee.Other than her parents and her first husband, Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death by a stepson, Stan Hendrix.
