Joan Carolyn Morgan

Joan Carolyn Morgan, age 67, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 with her family by her side. Cremation was chosen according to Joan’s wishes. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel, 619 E. Main Street, Henderson, TN. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 2:00 -3:30 PM at the funeral home chapel.
Joan was born on October 29, 1947 in McNairy, TN to the late Birl and Lorraine Smith. She worked for New Hope Services in Jeffersonville and was the director of home services for many years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Morgan.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Cecil Morgan; a daughter, Lorrie Wallace and her husband Mike; a sister, Glenda Rogers; and two grandchildren, Michelle and James Wallace.
