Jody Dale Hanback of Collinwood, TN was born September 11, 1979 in Florence, Alabama, the son of Ricky Dale Hanback and Sandra (Sandy) Jane Devers Daniel.
Mr. Hanback was a disabled postal mail carrier. He served in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mr. Hanback departed this life on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 30 Years, 2 Months, 29 Days.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Ricky and Gay Hanback of Section, AL; his mother, Sandra (Sandy) Daniel of Collinwood, TN; a brother, Justin Frank Hanback of Section, AL; a sister, Lee Ann Hanback of Section, AL; Grandparents, Loraine Hanback of Florence, AL and J. W. and Donna Rich of Collinwood, TN; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Everett Hanback.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 1:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, with Bro. Nesbitt Sanford officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jerry Roberson, Jason Caperton, Russell Pigg, Mark Achenbach, Tim Anders, Glenn Faires. Honoray pallbearers will be Steve Hanback and John Rich.
Visitation will be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.
