Joe Lynn Bingham was born August 28, 1938 in Bath Springs, TN the son of the late Elmer Lee and Margaret Ella Montgomery Bingham.
He was united in marriage to Myra Willis on May 27, 1960. They were lovingly devoted to one another for 63 years.
Mr. Bingham served his country honorably in the Unites States Army Corps of Engineers. He was an executive manager in automotive aftermarket sales for many years. From an early age, he cultivated a love for reading that he continued into adulthood. Mr. Bingham enjoyed traveling, having visited and driven in all 50 states. He also travelled internationally, visiting 13 foreign countries; Switzerland was his favorite. Mr. Bingham travelled extensively with his work; when he was home, his time was spent with family. He loved nature and would often take his daughter ATV trail riding. Mr. Bingham was a longtime member of the Germantown church of Christ. He truly lived a life of devotion to his faith and family and was an exceptional man.
Mr. Bingham departed this life on January 17, 2024 in Germantown, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 4 Months, 20 Days. He is survived by his wife Myra (Willis) Bingham of Rossville, TN; a daughter, Dani Day and husband Stacey of Piperton, TN; two grandchildren, Nathan Day and wife Beth of Eads, TN and Madison Malone of Collierville, TN; two great-grandchildren, Stella and Marshall; a brother, E L Bingham and wife Jo of Bath Springs, TN; four nieces; two nephews; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bingham was preceded in death by a brother, Arlie Bingham; a sister, Evelyn Goodman; and a nephew, Mike Bingham.
