Joe Lin Brewer

Joe Brewerwas born in Savannah, Tennessee on April 11, 1947 the son of the late Joe Neal and Allie Earlene Gatlin Brewer.Mr. Brewer was a veteran of the US Army, serving from November 1965 - November 1968. He was ranked a Specialist and was a motor pool mechanic. He continued on with his mechanic work after the Army until he retired. He had also worked at Qualls Sawmill, Rose Handle Mill, and Detroit Diesel. He loved to sing for everyone and play music. He had been involved with many benefits for people in Savannah.Mr. Brewer departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the age of 65 years, 27 days.He is survived by 2 sons, Bobby Brewer and Adam Brewer both of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Audra Walters of Tampa, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Colton Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Blake Brewer, Terri Walters, Tori Walters, and Memphis Cole Walters; 2 great grandchildren, Caden Jerrolds and Preston Brady; a sister, Pat Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Larry Brewer of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Max Brewer; 3 sisters, Barbara White, Mary Shagena, and Jackie Rich.
