Joe B. Brown departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the age of 85 years, 1 month, and 28 days. He was born in Richland Springs, Texas on September 1, 1934, the son of the late James Webster and Lena Estelle Welch Brown. On March 12, 1962, he was united in marriage to June C. Phillips, who preceded him in death on August 16, 2016.
Joe served honorably in the United States Navy for 19 years. He retired from Magnetek, Inc. in Lexington, Tennessee.
He is survived by his son, Steven Joe Brown of Sardis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Shonda Kay Hillensbeck and Samantha Lee Lobell; great grandchildren, Ashlynne Scott, Kennedy Lobell, Ethan Lobell, and Brock Hillensbeck; and his brother, Jack Brown of Texas.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Joe was preceded in death by a daughter, Debora Lynn Scott; three brothers, and a sister.
