Joe P. Campion

Joe P. Campion was born October 9, 1941 in Selmer, TN, the son of the late James Joseph Campion and Beatrice Peerey Campion. He graduated from Selmer High School in 1959. He was united in marriage to Jo Ellen Harville on November 18, 1978. Their bond was a beautiful testament to love and companionship

A member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee, Joe was a man of faith and community. He built a successful career, working with Southbridge and Tyrone Hydraulics in Corinth, MS, as well as Aqua Glass, where he eventually retired. His service in the United States Navy is a testament to his commitment and patriotism, which earned him respect and admiration.

Joe had a zest for life that was evident in his passions. He enjoyed all sports, particularly the game of golf. Traveling brought him joy, but nothing compared to the delight he found in family gatherings and the playing with his grandkids.

Joe departed this life on December 11, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 2 Months, 2 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Campion of Selmer, TN; daughter, Brandi Nicole Dixon and husband Tracy of Crump, TN; a stepson, Wade Huckabee and wife Theresa of Selmer, TN; stepdaughter, Bethany Bridges and husband Shane; four grandchildren: Anthony Campion and wife Choyenne of Adamsville, TN, Peyton Dixon and wife Shelby of Crump, TN, Josh Huckabee and wife Krisse of Hornsby, TN, Justin Huckabee and wife Kirbie of Bethel Springs, TN; six great grandchildren: Braxtyn Dixon, Colton Dixon, Elora June Campion, Brantley Huckabee, Henry Huckabee, Heidi Huckabee; a sister, Beatrice Campion Kiser and husband Herbert of Selmer, TN; nephew, James Wayne Kiser and wife Alice of Cordova, TN; niece, Kerri Kiser Clayton.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, James William Campion; nephew, Jeffrey Kiser; a grandchild, Christian Hunter Huckabee.
