Mr. Clifft passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Bolivar, TN on November 3, 1937 to the late Earnest Clifft and Tressie Pauline Hunt Clifft. He was married to the late Faith Young Clifft on May 3, 1958 and was a member of the Dixie Hills Baptist church. He was a Librarian for the Hardeman County Correctional Facility in Whiteville and a retired Operations Manager for Roadway Express in Memphis and Yellow Freightliners in Cookeville. He was a member of the Hardeman County Jaycees and had lived in Pikeville, KY.
His survivors include two daughters, Sandra Bryant and husband Neal of Panama City, FL and Holly Jefcoat and husband Steven of Bolivar; two brothers, Don and Ted Clifft of Bolivar; a sister in law, Mary Jane Cardwell of Bolivar; a very special friend, Norma Baker of Pikeville, KY; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, who died on Feb, 22, 1995, and his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Elizabeth.
