Joe Daniel Davis

Mr. Joe Daniel Davis was born May 8, 1943 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Taylor Levester and Carrie Lee Inman Davis. Mr. Davis worked in maintenance at Hassel and Hughes Lumber Company. He was united in marriage to Linda Faye Hollis on October 20, 1962. Mr. Davis departed this life on April 21, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 76 Years, 11 Months and 13 Days.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda Faye Hollis Davis of Waynesboro, TN; two sons, Michael D. Scott Davis of Collinwood, TN, Brandon Shane Davis of Florence, AL; a brother, David A Davis of New Lennox, IL; and a sister, Ruth Blalock of Waynesboro, TN. Mr. Davis is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Davis Mathis; and two brothers, James Malcolm Davis and Phillip Aaron Davis.
