Joe D. Eads

Joe D. Eads of Naples, FL, departed this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. Joe had been a resident of Naples for the past 13 years coming from Jackson, TN. He was born in Selmer, TN, a son of the late Jesse L. and Isabel Clifton Eads. He spent 12 years in the U. S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a registered nurse for 28 years and currently employed as a floor supervisor at Lehigh Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, tennis, and drinking Starbuck's coffee. Survivors include his 3 nieces and 1 nephew, Mary J. Heim of Naples, FL, Derenda G. Sipes of Bonita Springs, FL, Marsha J. Sipes of Port St. Lucy, FL, and Terry J. Sipes of Ecru, MS. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Nolan Hicks, Troy Eads, and Peggy Merchant. Also a niece, Sonya Tilly.
