Joe Thomas Elliott, 88, of Memphis, died October 2, 2008 at his home. Born in Hardeman County, TN, he was a graduate of Mississippi University and he served his country during WWII as a member of the U.S. Air Force-444th Bombardier Group of the 8th Air Force. He was employed by USFandG Ins. Co. for 35 years. Joe was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife Inez Crowley Elliott, daughters Andrea Elliott and Sandra James, son-in-law Rodney James, nephews Joe and John Elliott.
