Joe W. Green

Joe W. Greenwas born in Star City, Arkansas on March 16, 1938 the son of the late Alfred and Viola Faye Robinson Green.On November 24, 1995 he was united in marriage to Lois L. Tuberville, who survives.Mr. Green had worked for Amec-Kemtect Construction in the Tool Room and had served in the Army National Guard. He was a big hearted family man. He enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, and loved the outdoors. Mr. Green was a member of the Masons and the Shriner's.Mr. Green departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the age of 71 years, 4 months, 23 days.In addition to his wife, Lois, Mr. Green is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra Bowden of Shiloh, Tennessee and Maryann Green of West Monroe, Louisiana; 2 stepdaughters, Regina DeShazier of Savannah, Tennessee and Glenda Barber of Corinth, Mississippi; a stepson, Johnny Miles of Bastrop, Louisiana; 3 sisters, Nora Stone of St. Franceville, Louisiana, Linda Pirouznea of Slaughter, Louisiana, and Lillian Mansfield of Jackson, Louisiana; a brother, Jimmy Dale Green of Ashdown, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Joe Green; a brother, Larry Green; a grandson, Trey Amerson.
