Joseph Justice was born in Munford, Tennessee on February 24, 1937, the son of I.D. and Millie Justice. He was united in marriage to Paulette Swaffer Justice, who survives. Joe departed this life on January 3, 2018, at the age of 80 years.
Joe was a member of Crump Baptist Church, where he was a Minister of Music for 20 years. Joe ran a business named Fix-It-Shop for many years in Savannah, Tennessee. His passions were his church, his family, and his music.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, Joseph is survived by his children, Janice Cunningham and husband Fred, Cathy Dietz and husband Dennis, Beth Sweat, James and Tammy Justice, John Emery, Jody Dowdy, Jeri Logan and husband David; 13 grandchildren; 22 grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Jewel Loraine Materna, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Crump Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Crump Baptist Church, with Dr. Ken Story officiating. Burial services will follow at Crump Cemetery.
