Joe Stricklin, of Savannah, Tennessee, passed away November 17, 2025. Joe lived his life with strength and a heart big enough to hold everyone he cared about. He was stubborn. Everyone can agree to that.
He worked hard with grit, loyalty, and caring. He built things, he won trust, friendships, and had a reputation for doing things the right way. But give him a quiet evening on the porch with a cigarette, good conversation, and a steak and he couldn’t have been happier.
Above all else, Joe was a loving husband to his late wife, Nancy Carol Stricklin, whom he missed every day. He was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Joe is survived by his son, Thomas Stricklin; his grandson, Joseph Stricklin; and his granddaughter, Alyssa Stricklin. He is also remembered by his siblings: Barbara Melson, Jessie Stricklin, James Stricklin, and Jackie Stricklin, all of Savannah, and Mary Joyce Hill of Corinth.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Carol Stricklin; his father, Tom Stricklin; his mother, Beulah Stricklin; and his brother, Larry Stricklin.
Services will be held Saturday Nov 22nd at 11:00 am at Wesley's Chapel Church, visitation proceedings from 10:00 to 11:00.
Joe will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in every life he touched.
