Joe Frank Mitchell

Joe Frank Mitchell of Selmer, TN was born December 26, 1942, the son of the late Ward Mitchell and Lockie Mae Higginbottom Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell graduated from Selmer High School in 1960. He lived in Memphis for a large span of his adult life and was retired from International Harvester. He was a Mason and a member of Selmer First Christian Church. He had a passion for watching westerns on television. Mr. Mitchell departed this life on February 9, 2018 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 75 Years, 1 Month, 14 Days.

He is survived by a sister, Sue Carolyn Howie and husband Bobby of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Robert D. (Bobby) Mitchell and wife Tommye of Selmer, TN, Wayne Douglas (Doug) Mitchell and wife Barbara of Selmer, TN; seven nieces and nephews, Mandy Lang, Robert Darwyn Mitchell II, John William Mitchell, Regina Kaye Hollingsworth, Pollyanna Justice, Wayne Douglas Mitchell ll, Timothy Wright Howie; a host of great- nieces and nephews along with other extended family and friends.
