JOE LYNN PRINCE

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on August 2, 1934 the son of the late Ernest Edward and Irene Wood Prince.
On April 6, 1979 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Caperton, who survives.
Joe served his country in the armed Forces from 1952 to 1984. He served in the United States Army, Reserves and National Guard. His most memorable event with the military was being active in testing of the atomic bombs. Joe was very glad to tell you about him having the honor of meeting Sarah Churchill, the daughter of British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, at the site of the atomic bomb testing. Joe retired from Savannah Post Office after 29 years of service. He was a member of Graham United Methodist Church, a fifty plus member of the Masonic Lodge #102 In Savannah, member of the Scottish Rite, Al Chymia Shrine Temple and the Pickwick Shrine Club. Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was active in the hunter safety course taught in Hardin County and making sure all five of his grandchildren took the class. He also took each of them on their first juvenile hunt. Joe was an avid reader and his favorite books were written by John Grisham and Louis Lamour.
Joe departed this life on May 10, 2017 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 8 days.
In addition to his wife, Pat of 38 years, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy Bunnell and her husband Steve of Savannah, Tennessee and one son, Gary Kennedy and his wife Freda of Savannah, Tennessee.
five grandchildren, Candra Smith, Brinn Parrish, Amber Whitten, Abra Hindman and Cody Kennedy
ten great grandchildren, Hayden, Caisley, Westin, Baze, Madilyn, Addie, Reed, Bryton, Cameron and Cash
two brothers, James Prince and Charles Prince and his wife, Janiece, all of Savannah, Tennessee
one niece, Marty Alexander and her daughter Kendra Alexander
two nephews, David and his daughter Taylor Prince and Hollis Prince and his children, Andrew and Whitney Prince
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a nephew, Steve Prince and a sister in law, Ina Lou Prince.

Granddaddy, you made (Your Pat) and all the children proud of you, you taught them many lessons about life, wisdom from days gone by, the laughs, the memories and good times we had on all our trips will never by forgotten. We love you. And that is just,
