Joel Ashe

Joel Ashe was born on July 2, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Carlos Ashe and the late Esther Salzcu Ashe.

On October 4, 2001, he was united in marriage to Debi Goundry, who survives.

Joel formerly worked as an engineer and was a podcaster for Late Nite QRM. He loved Dodge trucks, shooting guns, watching grass drags, and his cats.

Joel Ashe departed this life on February 21, 2024 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 52 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

He is survived by his wife, Debi Ashe of Adamsville, Tennessee; sons, Kodah Ashe and Matoskah Ashe, both of Lowell, Massachusetts; stepchildren, Diane Cressey, Katrina Wilson, and David James, all of the United Kingdom; brother, Micah Ashe of North Carolina; father, Carlos Ashe of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jade Tuck, Alexander Tuck, and Harrison Brookes; and great granddaughter, Willow Mae Tuck.
