Joel Gant

Joel Gant was born October 11, 1955 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Claude A. Gant and the late Rubye Odessa Tanner.He was a Brakeman for Union Pacific Railroad and was Baptist faith.Mr. Gant departed this life on June 24, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 51 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days.He was survived by, his wife Sara Elizabeth Weeks Gant of Afton, New York; four children, Adrienne Lee Gant of Afton, New York, Jennifer Oestrander of Sidney, New York, Cynthia Burnett of Sidney , New York and Joseph Wilkins of Afton, New York; two sisters, Shelia Willis of Selmer, Tennessee, Linda Newsom of Corinth, Mississippi; five brothers, Timothy A. Gant of Alabaster, Alabama, Michael Tannner of Norfolk, Virginia, James B. Tanner of Selmer, Tennessee, Danny Gant of Cordova, Tennessee, Robert Gant of Collierville, Tennessee; a stepmother, Dollie Gant of Victoria, Mississippi.
