Joel Vance Irvin was born on October 24, 1955 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Thomas Irvin, Jr. and Ethel Mae Irvin.
Mr. Irvin worked as a carpenter for Scott Hadley Construction Company for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar and piano.
Joel Vance Irvin departed this life on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 65 years and 1 month.
He is survived by his daughters, Latasha Irvin and Tara Irvin, both of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tristen Irvin, Traeh Irvin, and Tylin Irvin; great grandchild, Khali Irvin; and nephew, Jemira Irvin of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Irvin and Larry Irvin.
