John Michael Baugus

John Michael Baugus was born on September 5, 1962 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Marcell Baugus and Ojuida Belle Walker Reed.

Mr. Baugus was employed making cricket boxes and doing janitorial work. He enjoyed fishing, making sewing boards, painting bird houses, and playing cards with his roommate, Mary. He loved to be around his family and friends. The most important person in his life was his son, Caleb, and he cherished the time they spent together.

John Michael Baugus departed this life on March 23, 2024 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 61 years, 6 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his son, Caleb Baugus; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of close family, friends, and caregivers.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Baugus and his sister, Annie Whitman.
