John Hardin Curtis

Services for John H. Curtis, age 94, of Clifton, TN, will be Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, TN with Don Spencer and Shayne Riley officiating. Burial will be in Clifton Cemetery, Clifton, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge. Pallbearers will be David Hensley, David Hensley, Jr., Timothy Hensley, Rick Scott, Ricky Scott, and Eric Scott. Mr. Curtis died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN on Friday, October 26, 2007 after a short illness.
A native of Fisk, MO, Mr. Curtis was a retired automobile mechanic, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Sally Curtis, son, Charles Curtis, brother, D. C. Curtis, and sister, Anna B. Curtis.
Survivors, wife, Coral Elizabeth Epley Curtis, Clifton, TN; daughter, Carolyn Nicholson, Dyersburg, TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
