John O. Davis

John O. Davis, age 78 of Marietta, Georgia passed away June 11, 2012. John began his life in Leapwood, Tennessee; he was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, a graduate of Memphis State University, and the owner and operator of Georgia Tractor Trailer in Austell, Georgia. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Fred May of Saltillo, MS and Linda and Robert Fry of Memphis, TN, as well as several nieces and nephews. The funeral service to honor his life will be held at Mars Hill Church of Christ on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Final interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central Night Shelter, 201 Washington Street, Atlanta, GA 30303 or any homeless charity.
