John Roger Duncan

John Roger Duncan was born June 29, 1968 in Morris, IL, the son of the late John Lee and Mazie Lee Williams Duncan. He was a McNairy Central High School graduate. Roger was a member of the Bethel Springs Church of God of Prophecy where he is was very active in church activities. He had worked in Selmer for many years. He was an avid car show enthusiast and enjoyed collecting model cars. Roger was a very kind soul and a friend to everyone.

Mr. Duncan departed this life on January 16, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 48 Years, 6 Months, 18 Days.

He is survived by two sisters, Sandy King and husband Kenny of Selmer, TN, Lori Gaze and husband Tom of Magnolia, TX; four brothers: Danny Duncan and wife Jean of Bethel Springs, TN, Jack Duncan and wife Kristen of Cookeville, TN, Ron Duncan of Selmer, TN, Dave Duncan and wife Donna of Selmer, TN; nieces and nephews: Jeremy Duncan, Andy Duncan, Zachary Duncan, John Duncan, William Duncan, Matthew Duncan, Brad King, Amy Ray, Casey Duncan, Cole Duncan, David Duncan, Daniel Duncan, Luke Gaze; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by a brother, John Randel Duncan.
