John Robert Hampton

John Robert Hampton departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 46 Years, 2 Months, 27 Days. He was born July 29, 1965 in Jackson, Tennessee the son of the late Talmage Allen Hampton and Margie Marie Giles Hampton Seitz. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by brother; Chris Hampton; grandparents; Talmage Wade and Ruth Ella Hampton; Paul and Alma Lou Giles; great grandparents; Billy and Nanny K. Bunch ; Holbert and Alice Giles and Charlie Wade and Lola Hampton.



He was united in marriage to Carolee Sharon Rumbaugh on May 5, 2006.



John was a rock mason and a member of the Ray's Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



He is survived by his wife Carolee Sharon (Rumbaugh) Hampton ; daughters, Christi (Hampton) Plunkett and husband Daniel and Chloe Hampton ; sons, Christopher Hampton ; Payton Hatchett ; Hunter Hatchett ; Briar Hampton all of Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Allen Hampton of Columbia, TN, Chad Hampton; and Tony Hampton both of Waynesboro, TN, Shane Seitz of Dixon, TN, and Greg Seitz of Alabama; grandson; Brayden Hampton; step mother, Abbie Hampton of Waynesboro, TN and step-father, Gene Seitz of Waynesboro, TN.
