John Jaggars, 76, of Ripley, MS, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022.
He was born Sunday, September 30, 1945, in Stantonville, TN, son of the late Amos F. and Inez Lucy Massey Jaggars and had lived in Ripley, MS since 2012. He was a delivery driver for Drake Sandwich Company for 9 years and had also worked for RC Cola Co, and the Kilgore Corporation. His family states that he never missed a day of work. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict from November of 1968-December of 1969, on the front lines of combat. When he returned home, he enjoyed playing cards, especially Rook, and dominos, but generally just enjoyed being at home. Mr. Jaggars was a christian, affiliating with the church of Christ.
Survivors include 5 children, Dennis Jaggars (Crystal) of Corinth, MS, ,Jimmy Jaggars of Memphis, Sandra Lambert of Poway, CA, Lynard Brock (Barbara) of Bolivar and Johnny Brock of Ripley, MS; a brother, Tony Jaggars of Savannah, TN; grandchildren, DJ, Deana and Ronald Jaggars, Michael & Christopher Lambert, Daniel Brock, Alyssa Watson, Katelynn Harrison, Nicolas Gentry, Kyleson Mercer and Cori Mercer; great grandchildren, Vanellope and Vincent Jaggars, Elijah Jacob Harrison, Maverick and Whitleigh Watson; and the mother of his children, Willo Dean Mynatt of Bolivar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dolly Sue Cawley and Lorraine Blaylock and four brothers, Tommy, James Robert, Ronald and Billy Wayne Jaggars.
