Johnny King, age 35, of Reagan, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
A native of Memphis, he was the son of Kathleen Grice of Oakland, TN and Allen (Janet Moss) King of Jackson, TN. He had lived in Glenn, MS and moved to Reagan, TN from Adamsville. He most recently resided in Reagan, TN.
Mr. King was united in marriage to Mary Suzanne "Suzy" Carroll on March 15, 2004. A master auto technician, he worked at Old Hickory Car Care and formerly at Jones Motor Company in Savannah. He was of the Christian faith and was a member of A. R. M., the Association of Recovering Motorcyclists, Chapter 61. Both he and his wife are full patch members of A. R. M.
An avid rider, he enjoyed the mechanics of working on various projects. He spent time visiting and talking with friends and family, playing video games with his children and stood ready to help anyone who was in need or assistance. Known for a fantastic sense of humor, Mr. King especially loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Suzy, and his parents, he is survived by his son, Johnathan King, Jr. of Reagan; his daughter, Gracie Jade Grissom King of Reagan; and his brothers, James Allen King of Nashville, Joseph Everett King of Oakland, TN and Aaron Adam King of Reagan.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara JoAnn Trim and Omer Roby; and his paternal grandparents, James Everett and Mary Marvaline King.
