John P. Lynch was born on May 26, 1954 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of the late James Christopher and Ella Margaret Lewis Lynch. On April 21, 1990, he was united in marriage to Deborah Kay Medlin, who survives.
John worked in the Transportation and Logistics industry for over 40 years, most recently with Priority Logistics Services.
John became an adept boat captain in his later years of life. He always enjoyed being on the water, whether spending every spare second pulling skiers, taking people on boat rides, or just simply relaxing with family and friends listening to music. He also enjoyed playing golf and took many trips with friends, spending their time playing as many holes as possible. His greatest passion was his family and he loved spending time with them and his closest friends most of all.
Mr. Lynch departed this life on November 21, 2018 in Counce, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debbie Lynch of Counce, Tennessee; daughter, Katherine (Katie) Lynch-Holmes of Memphis, Tennessee; three sons, James Matthew Lynch of Nolensville, Tennessee, Christopher Ray Lynch of Counce, Tennessee, and Michael Ryan Lynch of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, James Almon Lynch of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Elizabeth Ellen Mueller of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Ella Catherine Lynch, James Carter Lynch, and Cassidy Elizabeth Lynch.
