John William "Johnny" Lynn

John William (Johnny) Lynn was born December 14, 1946 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late John Andrew and Mildred Warren Lynn. Johnny was a retired supervisor with the Tennessee Highway Department and was a Staff Sergeant with the Tennessee National Guard.

He was united in marriage to Darlene Brewer on February 5, 1999 and she preceded him in death on February 4, 2002.

He is survived by a son, Stacy Lynn and wife, Carol of Fairview, TN; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Herschel Lynn of Waynesboro, TN and Mike Lynn of Jackson, TN; sisters, Sally Lynn of Lawrenceburg, TN and Geraldine Blalock of Waynesboro, TN and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, George Lynn.

A graveside service with military rites will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 3 pm at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Casey Jones officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Stoney Lynn, Jon Michael Lynn, Kolby Lynn, Scottie Blalock and Ethan Lynn.

Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.
