John Mashburn

JOHN MASHBURN

 Beech Bluff, TN: John Harold Mashburn, Jr. age 75 passed away September 19, 2024, at his home.

He was born November 16, 1948 in Gary, IN, the son of the late John Harold and Katherine Frances Callandra Mashburn. He grew up in Merrillville and graduated from Merrillville High School.

He worked as a mill wright for Inland Steel in East Chicago, IN for thirty years before retiring.

He was a devout Christian who enjoyed Bible study and attending church. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmersville, TX.

Mr. Mashburn is survived by two sons, Eric Mashburn (Pauline) of Beech Bluff and Keith H. Mashburn of Mesa, AZ; a daughter, Megan C. Goodloe (Josh) of La Porte, IN; four grandchildren, Caitlyn Arvisa, Desiree Mashburn, Chloe Mashburn and Nathan Owens; two great grandchildren, Ryleigh Jo Normant and Grayson MeJia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Toni Bridges and Ruth Mashburn.
