John Robert Odle was born November 19, 1953 in Wayne County, TN the son of Ruben and Nellie Staggs Odle. Mr. Odle died Monday, October 27, 2014 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 11 Months, 8 Days. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. On August 6, 1988 he married Margaret Sue Henson who survives of Waynesboro.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Sue Henson Odle, two sons, Jessie Robert Odle and James Aaron Odle and wife Chastity Ann, a daughter, Sarah Ann Odle Stricklin and husband Dustin Lynn, four grandchildren, Dakota Robert Odle, Tacoma Daniel Odle, Ashton Morgan Odle, and Johnathan Tucker Stricklin all of Waynesboro, his father, Ruben Odle and mother, Nellie Staggs Odle both of Collinwood, TN, a brother, Jimmy Wayne Odle and wife Lisa of Collinwood, TN, nephews, Matthew Wayne Odle and Brian Gobbell. He was preceded in death by a nephew David Gobbell.
At his request his remains will be cremated.
