John Barry Phifer

John Barry Phifer was born on January 7, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Mildred Louise Dacus Phifer and the late John Claburn Phifer. 

Mr. Phifer worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He also worked as a mechanic and loved to work on his truck as well as other vehicles and engines.

John Barry Phifer departed this life on December 4, 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 27 days.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Louise Dacus Phifer and sister, Patricia Ann Phifer McCool.

In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Lee Phifer.
