John R. Presley was born on January 4, 1981 in Selmer, Tennessee, the son of Shelia Mae Presley and the late Charlie Franklin Fouse, II.

John loved going fishing and attending family get togethers to play music. He was a home body and liked to watch movies.

John R. Presley departed this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 45 years, 7 months, and 14 days.

He is survived by his mother, Shelia Mae Presley; daughter, Katie Marie Presley; son, Marcus James Dillon Hartley; brother, Charles David Presley; and granddaughter, Ember Rose Presley.

In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his brother, Casey Dewayne Presley and sister, Veronica Maybell Cossey.
