John Lewis Price

John Lewis Price of Florence, AL was born August 14, 1941 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late George Fletcher and Leona Bates Price. He was united in marriage to Geraldean Arnett on May 7, 1960 and she preceded him in death on January 21, 2010.Mr. Price was a retired employee of the City of Florence Water Department.Mr. Price departed this life on Thursday, June 23, 2011at his home at the age of 69 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days.He is survived by daughters, Vickie Price and Pam Price both of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Robyn Moomaw and husband, Anthony, Jim Joiner and wife, Tina, and Tony Price; great-grandchildren, Natalieand Kinsley Moomaw, Hunter Joiner, Dalton and Tessa Smith; three sisters, Evon Frazier of Savannah, TN, Martha Atkinson and Dorothy Beasley both of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by brothers, G. F., Carl David, and Larry Gene Price; sisters, Peggy Goad, Marie Mooneyham.
