John W. Walls was born April 21, 1931 in Wynne, Arkansas.
He was united in marriage to Willia Dean Weatherley on October 2, 1993.
Mr. Walls served his country for 22 years in the United States Air Force. He was very proud to have served and loved his country. He then drove a truck for 15 years and later retiring for the second time from General Electric in Selmer after working for over 20 years. He was a hard working man, a collector of clocks and antique cast iron model cars. He loved to talk with people and enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Walls departed this life on April 6, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 16 Days. He is survived by his wife Willia Dean Walls of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Kathy McCormick of Selmer, TN, Brenda Ray of Bethel Springs, TN; three sons, John William (Johnny) Walls of Chicago, IL, Douglas Wayne Barnes of Arkansas, Richard Bright of Pocahontas, TN; ten grandchildren, Ross, Timmy, Ashley, Adam, B.J., Scott, Suzanne, Samantha, Dillion, and Colton; twelve great grandchildren, Gabriel, Rebekah, Nathanael, Bailee, Tatum, Kaylee, Kamron, Timothy, Dalton, Izzy, Katie, and Braden; and a host of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Uncle John Walls; grandson, Richard Barnes; three brothers, Jake, Freddie, and Jimmy Walls; sister, Aileen Walls.
