Mr. John Edwin West, Sr., of Bartlett, departed this life at his home June 5, 2012 at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 24 days.
Born in Memphis June 12, 1943 to the late John S. and Clovis Munn West, he was united in marriage to Norma Mills, who survives, December 22, 1962. A graduate of Middleton High School, he then graduated from Memphis State University, Class of 1968. He worked for Coors Brewing Company for 34 years prior to retirement and was a member of the Middleton Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John Edwin West, Jr. and his wife Gay of Alexandria, Virginia; and a daughter, Jennifer West-Lyons and her husband Terry of Santa-Catalina, Panama. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Joseph West.
