John David (Cottontop) Young of Waynesboro, TN was born February 18, 1960 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of Suzanne Lee Ball Young of Waynesboro, TN, who survives, and the late Thomas Harold Young. He was united in marriage to Sharon Dixon on August 25, 1990.
Mr. Young was a owner/operator of David Young's Car Brite.
Mr. Young departed this life on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 1 Month, 18 Days.
Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Dixon Young; two sons, Chad and Madison Young; a daughter, Ann-Marie Young of Waynesboro, TN, all of Waynesboro; a sister, Kris Fann and husband, Chris of Lawrenceburg, TN; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Don Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
Pallbearers will be Craig Kelly, Jeff Hunt, Bobby Sanders, James Risner, Tony Ray, and Kurt Brewer.
