Johnnie Wayne Glover (Jake)

Johnnie Wayne Glover (Jake) was born on August 9, 1944 in Shiloh, Tennessee, the son of the late Allen Matthew and Notra Cierley Glover.

Mr. Glover worked for Carroll Sod Farm. He enjoyed going four wheeler riding and spending time with his friends and family. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. Jake had a wonderful sense of humor and was known as the comedian of his family.

Johnnie Wayne Glover departed this life on January 23, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Bell Carroll and Robbie Waters; special niece and caregiver, Melissa Shutt; former wife, JoAnn Glover; and a host of additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jake was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Chval and brothers, Allen Glover and Ferrel Glover.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to HMC Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave Johnnie.
