Johnnie Katherine Jackson

Johnnie Katherine (Griffin) Jackson, age 95 of Henderson was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Leroy and Vergie Templeton Griffin. She was married to Bowles Jackson in 1953. He died in 1992. Mrs. Jackson was a nurse at the Guy-Steadman Clinic in Henderson for several years before moving to Kansas City, Missouri in 1953. She returned to Henderson in 1979. She was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters Gertrude Patterson of Henderson and Dorothy Robertson of Saltillo, TN; a brother W.N. Griffin of Henderson; two grandchildren Dorothy Faye Holmes of St. Charles, Missouri and Roy Holmes of Jackson, TN and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Edward Roy Holmes, two sisters Ruth Holmes and Mary Ann Edward and a brother Earl Griffin.
