Johnnie O. Lomax

Johnnie O. Lomax of Orange Park, FL, formerly of Warner Robbins, GA, was born February 16, 1932 in Flatwoods, TN, a daughter of the late John and Martha Tune Lomax.Ms Lomax was a registered nurse and served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1979. She was a member of the Flatwoods Methodist Church in Flatwoods, Tennessee.Ms Lomax departed this life on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 80 Years, 5 Months, 27 Days.She is survived by a brother, Dwight Lomax of Warren, OH; a sister, Verdie Skelton of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Ms Lomax was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Lomax; sisters, Delphia Pope, Ruby Mathis, and Mattie Morris.Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at North Highland Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with officiating Mitchell Skelton officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
