JOHNNIE TAYLOR

Henderson, TN: Johnnie Ray Taylor age 64, passed away April 19, 2023, at Jackson Madison General Hospital.

 He was born April 7, 1959, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The son of Helen Pearl Barnes Taylor and the late Charles Ray Taylor. He was raised in Henderson and graduated Chester County High School in 1978. He was a mechanic, all of his adult life, retiring in 2014. He worked for Southwest Human Resources for twenty-one years.

He married Patti Ann Swindle on April 15, 2002. He loved fishing and grilling out.

He attended Big Springs Methodist Church.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his mother, Helen Pearl Barnes Taylor Dorris of Henderson and a sister, Catherine Denise Taylor of Henderson, a nephew, Charles Taylor of Henderson; a stepson, Joe Tull, a stepdaughter, Misty Martinez; stepsister, Brittany Woods of Jackson and a stepbrother, Anthony Dorris of Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Taylor, his wife, Patti Ann Taylor in 2018, his stepfather, Carlos Gene Dorris, a stepsister, Joy Maynard and a stepbrother, Lee Dorris.

A celebration of life service will be announced later.
